La Alianza de Cine Latino de Georgia (GALFA, por sus siglas en inglés) se enorgullece en presentar la 12ª edición anual del Festival Internacional de Cine Latino de Georgia (GALIFF), programado del 21 al 24 de septiembre de 2023 en el Condado de Gwinnett.
La extravagancia de cuatro días celebra a los cineastas independientes y rinde homenaje al Mes de la Herencia Hispana, prometiendo una experiencia cinematográfica sin igual.
Como el principal festival de cine en el sureste y el único Festival de Cine curado Afro Latino en el país, GALIFF continúa poniendo el foco en los talentosos cineastas de Georgia y cineastas latinos de todo el mundo.
Los asistentes se sumergirán en un mundo de cautivadoras narrativas, talleres y perspectivas diversas, con películas y directores de todo Estados Unidos, España, México, América del Sur y el Caribe. El Festival Internacional de Cine Latino de Georgia se destaca entre otros festivales al proporcionar un entorno íntimo que fomenta la creación de redes, el intercambio de ideas y el crecimiento artístico tanto para cineastas como para entusiastas del cine. "Estamos emocionados de reunir a cineastas y amantes del cine en un fin de semana dedicado a la magia del cine y la celebración de la cultura latina", dijo Carla Berkowitz, Directora de Cámara de la Alianza de Cine Latino de Georgia. "Nuestro festival sigue siendo un faro de creatividad, mostrando lo mejor en películas independientes, fomentando el talento local y promoviendo la diversidad en la industria para todas las culturas".
El festival se llevará a cabo en el prestigioso Gas South District Center y en varios otros lugares del Condado de Gwinnett.

The Georgia Latino Film Alliance(GALFA) is proud to present the 12th annual Georgia Latino International Film Festival,(GALIFF) scheduled for September 21st to 24th, 2023 in Gwinnett County. The four-day extravaganza celebrates independent filmmakers and honors Hispanic Heritage Month, promising a cinematic experience like no other.
As the premier film festival in the Southeast and the only Afro Latino curated Film Festival in the country, GALIFF continues to shine the spotlight on talented Georgia filmmakers and Latino filmmakers from around the world.
Attendees will be immersed in a world of captivating storytelling, workshops, and diverse perspectives, featuring films and directors from all over the United States, Spain, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. The Georgia Latino International Film Festival stands apart from other festivals, providing an intimate setting that fosters networking, idea exchange, and artistic growth for filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike.
